Sue's Fudge is a small business hand-making real fudge on the beautiful Channel Island of Jersey, using the finest quality local ingredients.
My fudge is made the traditional way, in small batches, hand stirred over high heat, poured into cooling trays and hand cut. Made with the milk, cream and butter from beautiful Jersey Cows, you can almost taste the grass! No preservatives are used and only natural flavourings are chosen where required.
The texture of my fudges is often likened to a Scottish Tablet.
My two-times Gold Star award-winning (at the Great Taste awards) Vanilla fudge has a buttery sweetness and short, crumbly texture. This is my best selling flavour, popular with all ages.
Another of my best sellers is Jersey Black Butter Fudge - the combination of apples, butter and a hint of cinnamon, will have your taste buds tingling! This fudge has also won a Gold Star at the Great Taste awards in London.
My latest flavour is Pink Granite Gin fudge, which contains locally distilled gin, developed by Dunells Wines, here in Jersey. This fudge contains a high volume of alcohol and is therefore a premium fudge. For adults only, perhaps!
For something completely different, you might like to order some Jersey Lavender fudge, made with the oil of lavender grown and distilled here on the Island.
Sue's Fudge is a member of The Genuine Jersey Products Association. Genuine Jersey was conceived in 2001 as a non-profit organisation to promote goods which are made, reared, grown or caught in Jersey and its surrounding waters and because of the skills involved in production, may be regarded by consumers as being genuinely 'Local'
